so, afterellen.com is one of my favorite gay websites. i only have a few that i can stand, actually.
no matter. every year, they compile a list of the 100 hundred hottest women, called the hot 100. this isn’t exactly an original concept, but i appreciate their list for its broad appeal to include lesbians. as in there is something of substance to this women. it actually is billed as “the sexiest women, according to women.”
the top 5 of 2007, and the subsequent top 5 of 2008 comprise some of my favorite actresses.
in 2007, the list included (in order) leisha hailey, angelina jolie, kate winslet, lena headey and sarah shahi. i have reasons for my favorites. angelina jolie = uh duh. lena headey is what i feel like kiera knightly will be in ten years. sarah shahi has the whole hot multi-ethnic thing going on. and leisha hailey just makes me smile.
in 2008, there was a swoop up, and tina fey topped the list. she was immediately followed by my absolute favorite, jennifer beals, and later on, a reappearance by leisha hailey. why my favorite? multiethnic? check. hot? check. ferocious intellect? check. what more need i say?
